Zero-Emission Grid, LLC, (ZEG) is in search of a senior Graphic Designer and Social Media Manager to join our team to devise and lead our marketing strategies. ZEG provides creative, cost-effective, and practical engineering and technical solutions to stakeholders in electric power generation, transmission, and distribution systems. The senior Graphic Designer and Social Media Manager must be detailed oriented, organized, demonstrate drive and be passionate about contributing to the growth of ZEG’s impact toward decarbonizing the grid. 



These are some examples of how you will help the team:

  • Brand Book Creation: Develop and maintain our brand book, ensuring consistency in messaging and visual identity.

  • Graphic Design: Create static and motion graphic designs that align with our brand's style and messaging.

  • Content Creation: Generate engaging and relevant content for various social media platforms.

  • Explainer Videos: Produce clear and compelling explainer videos to convey our products/services effectively.

  • Asset Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and organize assets for marketing materials.

  • Scheduling and Publishing: Manage social media content scheduling and publishing across multiple channels.

  • Optimization Strategy: Develop and implement optimization strategies to improve social media performance.

  • Website Traffic: Drive high-quality traffic to our website through social media campaigns.


What you will need to succeed in your role:

  • Proven experience in graphic design, including proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and After Effects.

  • Strong creative and artistic skills, with a keen eye for detail.

  • Proficiency in creating and editing static and motion graphics.

  • Excellent understanding of social media platforms (e.g., Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) and trends.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

  • Familiarity with SEO and analytics tools is a plus.

  • Previous experience with brand book creation is desirable.


  • This is a part-time position, with flexible hours totaling 20-25 hours per week. The candidate should be available to work during regular business hours and occasionally outside those hours as needed.
