These are some examples of how you will help the team:

Reviewing technical specifications associated with power system equipment and extracting relevant parameters

Prepare Single-Line Diagrams
-
Preparing technical documentation as part of power grid interconnection applications

Create and validate ETAP, ASPEN, and PSS/E models for renewable generations: Solar PV, BESS, and Wind.

Perform fault ride-through studies, dynamic model quality tests, and model benchmarking analysis using different power system modeling software tools.

Perform electrical power system steady state, short circuit, dynamic, and transient stability analyses for renewable generation interconnection including Wind (Onshore, Offshore), Solar, Storage, and hybrid projects.

Produce technical reports and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.

Develop or modify automation scripts to enhance the efficiency, speed, and accuracy of technical simulations

Contribute to the team’s research and innovation activities in terms of the development of new techniques and/or analytical tools to further the team’s performance in terms of efficiency and/or capability improvements.
What you will need to succeed in your role:

Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a prestigious institution - Preferably a graduate-level degree with an emphasis on Electric Power Systems

Excellent understanding of the fundamentals of electric power systems and renewable energy

Working knowledge of automation scripts such as Python

Strong organizational, interpersonal, relationship-building, and analytical skills

Ability to work in a dynamic team environment.

Excellent oral and written communications skills in English
