These are some examples of how you will help the team:

  • Reviewing technical specifications associated with power system equipment and extracting relevant parameters

  • Prepare Single-Line Diagrams

  • Preparing technical documentation as part of power grid interconnection applications

  • Create and validate ETAP, ASPEN, and PSS/E models for renewable generations: Solar PV, BESS, and Wind.

  • Perform fault ride-through studies, dynamic model quality tests, and model benchmarking analysis using different power system modeling software tools. 

  • Perform electrical power system steady state, short circuit, dynamic, and transient stability analyses for renewable generation interconnection including Wind (Onshore, Offshore), Solar, Storage, and hybrid projects.

  • Produce technical reports and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Develop or modify automation scripts to enhance the efficiency, speed, and accuracy of technical simulations

  • Contribute to the team’s research and innovation activities in terms of the development of new techniques and/or analytical tools to further the team’s performance in terms of efficiency and/or capability improvements.


What you will need to succeed in your role:

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a prestigious institution - Preferably a graduate-level degree with an emphasis on Electric Power Systems 

  • Excellent understanding of the fundamentals of electric power systems and renewable energy

  • Working knowledge of automation scripts such as Python

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, relationship-building, and analytical skills

  • Ability to work in a dynamic team environment.

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills in English
