Zero-Emission Grid, LLC  provides all-inclusive engineering advisory services and solutions related to grid interconnection, reliability, and economics to support power grid and electricity market stakeholders in their journey toward decarbonized power grids.

Zero-Emission Grid has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Marketing and Administrative Support Specialist to support the team with branding, marketing campaigns, and content development. The successful candidate will also work closely with the executive team and will provide administrative support.  

These are some examples of how you will help the team:

  • Create engaging graphics, informative visualizations, and motion graphic designs including but not limited to social media visuals, social media content, layouts for proposals, brochures, signs, website, and event design to portray concepts that highlight our brand and its solutions.

  • Lead and contribute to the development of company design assets including templates for technical reports, presentations, proposals, and brochures.

  • Create templates in accordance with company branding assets for internal and external documents and deliverables.

  • Collaborate with the technical team to create digital content on a regular basis.

  • Stay abreast of development, news, and trends in the North American power grid industry to be able to provide input about digital content.

  • Implement new workflows, technologies, programs, materials, and design trends to drive innovation and growth.

  • Stay informed and capitalize on emerging social media platforms, techniques, technology, and analytic tools.

  • Serve as the technical editor proofreading and editing company deliverables to ensure compliance with company design templates and company quality control procedures.

  • Support the executive team in other day-to-day business matters including but not limited to documentation management, data entry, industry research, event organizing, making travel arrangements, and managing executive calendars.

  • Providing minor accounting support


What you will need to succeed in your role:

  • Self-motivated and self-learner, ability and a strong desire to take initiative and explore independently.

  • Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, marketing or relevant field.

  • Hands-on experience using Adobe Creative Cloud software including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Express, Premiere Pro.

  • Advanced user of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • 2-5 years of experience as a graphic designer and content manager

  • Demonstrable experience creating graphic art for print and digital media.

  • Demonstrable experience creating marketing motion graphic designs.

  • Strong visual aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colors, fonts, and layouts.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and matrixed professional services structure.

  • Keen awareness of what makes content engaging and successful across platforms and audiences.

  • Video editing experience is a plus.

  • Experience with WordPress is preferred.

  • Experience working in the Electric Power industry is a plus.

  • Basic understanding of accounting terms is a plus.
