Order 1920 Update
Staff reviewed preparation for FERC compliance. FERC’s schedule places MISO’s first 1920 compliance filing on June 12, 2026 and the interregional filing on Dec 12, 2026 (no engagement-period extension requested). PSC Report
PSC report: Sharing & coordinating MTEP & DPP for large loads (PAC-2024-7). PSC’s July workstream moves forward: permitting spot-load mitigations within BPM-015 and clarifying how planning studies coordinate with the GI process to serve new large loads (e.g., data centers). PAC discussion continued the feedback loop.
Modification of Interconnection Requests prior to DPP kickoff
MISO scoped a proposal to allow limited changes before Phase 1 begins to reduce restudies. Separately, in the Aug 25 GI Queue Process Workshop, MISO clarified that changing POI or inverter before Phase 1 kickoff does not require a material-mod report and does not affect queue position—guidance consistent with the theme of this item.
MISO–SPP TMEP implementation update & draft JOA language
Staff walked through next steps to formalize a Targeted Market Efficiency Project process on the MISO–SPP seam, following July PAC/IPSAC discussions and earlier feedback windows on tariff/JOA redlines toward a year-end filing path.

MTEP25 report update
Planning provided a status check on the 2025 cycle ahead of fall review milestones. As context, public reporting in mid-June pegged MTEP25 at ~$13B of projects as of early summer, with additional refinements expected before board action.

PAC revisited tracking from earlier meetings (e.g., GI Service Workbook verification, AECI joint planning agreement, and MISO–SPP TMEP feedback windows previously opened and closed). 2026 meeting dates were also noted.
