OUR STORY
Built to support a changing power industry, and help shape outcomes across the grid lifecycle.
ZEG was founded to build a different kind of engineering advisory for a more complex power industry; one grounded in technical rigor, transparency, and practical execution. From the beginning, our focus was to help clients navigate interconnection, transmission planning, and grid-related risks with deeper insight and more reliable outcomes.
As demand for large load interconnections accelerated, ZEG expanded its services to support emerging load-driven opportunities, including data centers and bitcoin mining projects. During this period, we also established our India office, expanding our technical capabilities and strengthening our ability to support clients across time zones and project stages.
To support continued growth and deepen regional coverage, ZEG opened its Canada office in 2025. This milestone expanded our North American presence and reinforced our ability to serve clients across increasingly interconnected power markets with specialized technical and market expertise.
Today, as a 100% employee-owned firm, ZEG supports developers, asset owners, utilities, and investors across the full grid lifecycle. We combine engineering depth, market intelligence, and innovative tools to help clients move projects forward — and help shape outcomes in a rapidly changing power industry.
