MISO IPWG 3.10.26 Report Summary
MISO IPWG Liaison Report for March 10, 2026, gives updates on interconnection-related stakeholder activities, policy discussions, schedule changes, and upcoming workshops.
Attachment GGG Updates
The main policy update is on Attachment GGG Improvements (PAC-2024-6). MISO reviewed stakeholder feedback from the January 27, 2026, IPWG meeting and said the comments generally supported its approach: keeping study scope disciplined, establishing physical connection requirements, and using a staged Tariff filing process for near-term clarifications while more complex issues continue through stakeholder discussions. MISO also noted that some topics still need further work, including the distinction between Necessary vs. Network Upgrades, flexibility in technical cure and feedback timelines, and Module B cost recovery implications. These discussions will continue in the April 28, 2026, IPWG meeting.
IBR Modeling Requirements
The report also highlights an IBR Modeling Requirements Workshop scheduled for March 19, 2026, focused on the new inverter-based resource modeling requirements that will apply to DPP-2025. Stakeholders were invited to submit questions on compliance with BPM-015, Appendix I before the workshop.
DPP 2025 Updates
Another key item is the DPP schedule update. MISO notes that the latest DPP schedule is posted monthly, and that DPP 2025 Phase 2 must wait for earlier cycles to reach critical decision points so that study models and results are more accurate.
